The scenarios in this book are great! The quality of that scan is bad because the resolution of the images ist really low, so its hard to read the text. Even a scan app on smartphones can do better scans than this one!

I bought some other scenarios ("The Black Thorns", "McCarron's Armored Cavalry" and "The Fourth Succession War Scenarios Volume One") and the quality of the scans is way better.

Maybe its time for an update and a rescan?

A rather small and cheap PDF, with much of the art taken from other sources, it's par for the course for an April Fool's Day supplement from CGL.

Clan Spaniel was first mentioned in "The Clans: Warriors of Kerensky" near the end of the FASA era. It's since become a joke among the fans, and one scenario was previously published. The conceit is this is an in-universe kids propaganda show for the Crusader Clans. It also has some kitsch value in parts of the Inner Sphere.

Text is uniform and readable, with no major issues or errors when reading. The PDF is worth purchasing if you're a fan of the BattleTech setting and are willing to take a joke. Long live the Yellow Monkey Tribe!

Overall verdict: Positive.

It calls back to a number of different references, with the most interesting being the Tarot cards. Lore heavy more than anything else.

Still a few typos present (e.g. "See item on pg.XX").

A great book with all the information needed to play the game. Even if a player has the box sets, I recommned buying this book.

This free PDF is an excellent intro for GMs using the Shadowrun Missions in their games, going through the thoughts behind the structure of the missions and how to handle the Player Characters for Missions.

Even if you are not using the Missions, it's still a good general intro into structuring runs and Gamemastering in Shadowrun.

Incomplete! The TRO 3039 is arguably the best TRO out there, as it covers the succession wars and the time before the clan invasion. Basically everything formally known as Level 1. The record sheets: 3039 however, lack. The description says: "some of those Mechs and verhicles... " SOME. Out of the 84 Mechs in the TRO 3039, only 58 are in this record sheet pack, leaving out important designs, such as the Commando, Clint, Vindicator, Catapult, Awesome, even the Atlas isn't there. And no variants at all. Only 32 out of 45 vehicles. Why didn't they just make a complete collection? I would have payed even more for it.

The way it is now, it does not serve the needs of a serious BT player.

Very good supplement. Highlights for me included the opening short story, locations and the added qualities and equipment which add good flavor and inspire character ideas.

One of the best parts of Shadowrun is how all-out ridiculous the setting is. The United Canadian American States elected a blue dragon named Big D as president. There are times the lore has gotten Very Deeply Serious but it's always sort of returned to this conceit of a fictive Kitchen Sink of fantasy and sociopolitical elements that just build into a completely unhinged and wild ride that's deeply fun.

That's what this supplement brings back into the game. It's a quick, streamlined way to incorporate Gobbos and Bolds into your game, purely because some of us want to play a short-stack dragonperson screaming "YAP!" while crashing drones into a corporate AAA facility.

The rules are laid out clear and clean, better than some of the core products manage. The themes are clearly presented, the art is great, and the price is perfect.

Buy the book already and get your Goblin Mode going!

An old favourite from the early 90's. I reacquired it and it is still a great module in the sense of being an adventure, but the other parties have dimension and every opportunity to be used creatively in a campaign. It has scope depth. A favourite then and going to use it again now.

This supplement gives one a developed setting which gives you the feeling of being in an Aztlán enclave without being deep within the country itself while also allowing easier access for runners to take trips outside of the base setting if this is where one sets their campaign. Conversely, if you want to give a team of runners a taste of this well known country and corporation, it's developed enough to do that too while also allowing a GM to personalize the setting for their campaign.

If you are into elementals and Jade Falcons, this one is for you. The story is decent up until the end when one of elementals turns way to wimpy after twenty years of training and preparing for the Trial of Position. Still, it was ok quick read.

Used this sourcebook as the basis for a series of linked battles for Battletech Alpha Strike. Highly recommended supplement. We had a lot of fun.

Main comcern is a few pages with pencil marking were also scanned. Particularly pages 127, 129, 130, 131, 132 and 134 were with markings.
